Eva Diez
“May the smile that comes to your face when you remember me be the result of the beautiful moments we created together and the certainty that getting to know each other was worthwhile.“
Eva is hidden, too much so. And she is talent, so very much of it. She is driven to do things with impact, and she does it from what she knows best: building brands that inspire, that transform. Brands that speak to girls and young women, to remind them that yes they can, that technology is also theirs, that the future is also for them. And she does it big, just as she thinks: with time, with resources, with networks and with global projects, because impact knows no borders, and for Eva, either it reaches everyone, or it is not enough.
Eva is generosity, always. She lives on the other side of the Atlantic, and yet, she is close. Very close. There are no time zones or oceans that stop her from naturally asking you: how can I help you? And when she asks, she truly means it. Because Eva is there, she is always there.
That is why Eva can no longer remain invisible. Because when someone combines talent, action, and heart like that, she doesn’t just deserve to be visible: she has to be.
1. How do you define yourself when no one is looking?
Homely, curious, romantic.
2. When you think about your talent, about what you contribute beyond your role, about what makes you unique, what would you say it is?
I believe my talent lies in empathy: connecting with people, inspiring them, and mobilizing them to turn vision into action and make things happen. Empathy is a gift, a strength, and also my weakness. It allows me to read people, to try to listen and understand before judging, and it’s the foundation upon which I build my relationships and my leadership.
3. What values govern your life and how do they manifest in your daily life?
Loyalty, generosity, and determination. Loyalty means being faithful to the people you trust and to those who trust you, and always defending them, even if it means having uncomfortable conversations in private. Generosity is my constant; I give without thinking, without expecting anything in return, because I can’t help it. And determination… it’s my trademark. I’m competitive, and nothing motivates me more than a difficult challenge, because I’m not just going to solve it, I’m going to nail it! Haha.
4. What do you look for in what you do, professionally or personally?
I seek to build, to help, to create something valuable that improves the environment, the world, and society. I seek to enjoy myself, to have fun, while I grow and learn. And I seek to discover stories, people, ideas, and places that inspire and move me.
5.What do you fall in love with, what moves you, what excites you?
I’m drawn to generous, passionate, creative, and intelligent people who make me reflect and learn. I’m moved by sensitivity, good music, poetry, film, theater, dance, art, or a good conversation. I’m driven to create something meaningful, to share the journey with my loved ones—my family, friends, colleagues, and besties—and to believe that our efforts transform lives.
6. What do you deeply detest?
Selfishness. Lies. Propaganda. Lack of critical thinking. Injustice. And… wasabi, hahaha.
7. What happens when people truly see you?
I get scared. But if I feel safe, I stay. There’s no better place than where you can be yourself, without proving yourself, without protecting yourself, and enjoying life without judgment or prejudice.
8. What kind of decisions do you like to be involved in?
In vision and positioning. In definition. In creativity. In analysis to solve very, very complicated problems, to find a solution that not only solves the problem but turns it into a winning opportunity.
9. What kind of conversations do you think are missing in companies today?
Real, in-depth conversations to truly get to know people, understand their aspirations and goals, and connect them to their work and/or the company’s purpose. Conversations designed to empower people to contribute their full potential and perform their tasks with meaning.
10. What is a valuable thing you learned from a failure?
That everything is relative, that a failure sometimes doesn’t deserve the emotional weight we give it. The same mistake can be a step forward or a setback depending on your perspective. That gaining perspective is important and that there’s nothing better than failure to see who will stay by your side. And that, as Scarlett O’Hara said, “after all… tomorrow is another day.”
11. How do you know you have contributed value to a project or a professional relationship?
Because I’ve activated action; because the numbers, the KPIs, are better than when I arrived; but above all because my presence leaves structure and not dependence, and the team can continue without me because I’ve expanded the space of “what’s possible” for everyone.
12. If you had to choose a famous phrase that represents you, which one would it be?
Making the impossible possible.
13. What would you like to explore or build at this stage of your life?
At this stage of my life, I would like to consolidate what I have already sown. I want to explore how to transform social impact into a lasting structure. I am interested in delving deeper into the intersection of purpose, strategy, and measurement, demonstrating that social change can and should be managed with excellence and data.
14. If you could write a sentence that someone would remember about you 10 years from now, what would it be?
May the smile that comes to your face when you remember me be the result of the beautiful moments we created together and the certainty that getting to know each other was worthwhile.
