Manifesto
Throughout the years, I have promoted many initiatives for this, but almost always in intimate circles, among people who were part of my network.
With TalentoOculto , I want to go further, it is born with a double purpose:
– I want wonderful people—even if they are not yet visible—to be discovered. For people to find their shine because they recognize themselves in another’s story. Because someone names them. Because they ask the right questions. Because sometimes we just need someone to see us, so we can see ourselves too.
– To help people recognize their shine, that which sometimes one doesn’t even see oneself.
Because talent doesn’t always have a degree, or a position, or a brilliant resume.
Talent is often invisible, even to those who carry it within them.
But when you find your shine, and others see it too, then everything changes.
As my friend Arancha Ruiz says, “when others know your identity and your value, it is not vanity: it is generosity. Because that’s the only way things happen.”
I deeply believe in that. And that’s why this project is born: so that many talentos ocultos (hidden talents) pcan shine and collaborate. Because when we truly see each other, when we share from the authentic, everything changes.
This project is that: an act of collective generosity.
So that many hidden talents can shine.
So that we can see ourselves reflected in others.
So that we can ask ourselves the right questions.
And so that what we truly are, has the space it deserves.
